Large orange citrine field with quartz clusters.  Just under 9".  Citrine is formed when hydrous iron oxide is present in the formation of quartz. Citrine can also be made from pale amethyst crystals by heating them. This beautiful rich orange specimen is a heated amethyst from Brazil. color.
